I'm shocked and stunned. I have an email account with SpamCop. One of the things it does is check for viruses. Today I got this message from SpamCop that said,

"This e-mail is generated by the SpamCop Email System to warn you that the e-mail sent by Staplescanada@juno.com to taxlady@spamcop.net is infected with virus: Win32/Bugbear.B@mm..."

I have, of course, sent email to Staples to let them know. I am on their list to receive their "specials".

Did you check the headers? Bugbear.B apparently selects the 'sender' from your address book as well as recycling content from your inbox.

I thought about checking headers after I posted that. It doesn't come from the email addy that Staples/Bureau en Gros usually uses. It isn't even sent to the email addy that I use with Staples/Bureau en Gros. My email to the addy in the virus infected message bounced. I'm waiting for Spamcop to get their database sorted so I can have it decrypt the headers for me.

The full headers were in the body of the message from Spamcop. I'm trying to figure out who sent it (well, actually, whose computer sent it), so I can tell them they are infected.
