Everyone gets spam. Lots of it is misspelled. Some of it has nonsense words. The newest variation I've seen is the addition of lots of words that have nothing to do with the spam. Most people seem to think that this is done to fool the Bayesian spam filters. Here's a link to an article by someone who has found out the truth.

Date: 2004-03-07 10:54 pm (UTC)People don't get hired to type glibberish. It's simply much easier to get a computer with a dictionary and a random function to do it for you. The big bad computer can even take paragraphs and slice and dice em and stuff spam lines in between em ( spam sandwich! woot!).
