So, it's snowing, a little. They don't expect more than 1 cm of accumulation. Only light flurries for Sunday.
I'm surprised that I'm disappointed. I wanna practice skidding. I want my "winter feet" back. I had my fancy shmancy Hakkapeliita tires put on the car in October. Knud, the Volvo, likes to play in the snow. ;)

Date: 2003-12-07 10:37 pm (UTC)I noticed. The weatherchannel's website said that there was 0.2 cm of snow accumulated at Dorval. I looked out my back window and there was at least 10 cm on my patio furniture. Dorval isn't that far from me.
heh
Date: 2003-12-08 12:38 am (UTC)Driving in winter with a rear-wheel drive car (like our respective Volvos) is like riding a bike...you don't forget how. What sucks is the first time you drive a front-wheel drive car in the snow when you've been driving a rear-wheel car.

Date: 2003-12-08 02:40 am (UTC)We ended up getting about 4 inches of snow.
Actually, Knud is front wheel drive. When I first started renting cars I had the shock of driving on snow with front wheel drive. I had never heard of torque steer - yikes. But, the first time I heard the term, I knew what they meant. Luckily, I don't get torque steer with Knud.
