Feeling stronger

I've been back from visiting my mother in California since Tuesday. This is my first LJ post since I got home. I guess it was a lot more emotionally draining than I realized. I am subscribed to Kitty Journals. I read about someone's 18 year old cat who died, apparently peacefully with no pain. Now, this is something that would normally make me sad, even though I've never met the cat or the owner. But, I burst into tears and sobbed when I read this.

I think I'm feeling much better now and will post about the trip and about aging parents soon.

Don't underestimate the stress - it can undermine you in unexpected ways. I know you probably have to get back to work, but treat yourself gently this week.
