buying glasses online

How are they for driving? Do you notice diminished peripheral vision? How long did it take to get them? How much was the shipping?

Isn't that the place that tepintzin uses? I know she is fairly pleased with her online glasses buying experience.

I got my progressives rom Grant & Pim. Mr Pim was running the shop on his own recently, and he's now retired. The glasses I have contain Nikon lenses, and they're great. No noticeable diminished peripheral vision. I saw the specs for Nikon's refractive-index map -- I'm amazed they could manage it. I mean, there are mathematical constraints on how all those curvatures can fir together on three-dimensional space, but Nikon manages to sail through them nicely.

Mr. Pim has handed over his patient file to another optician downtown. He says it took him a long time to find another optician that would treat customers as well and as economically as he did. I haven't been there yet, but I'm going to try early next week (the hinge on the right temple has become wobbly).

Nikon lenses are expensive, though.

Let me know how it goes. I have an optometrist I really like, here on the West Island. I want a cheap pair of glasses. The reading glasses I have now are Nike and I love them, but I really want glasses I can wear all the time.

I am an evangelist for these guys. Steve got his progressives from them and he was very happy. It took about 4 weeks, but they were $50 and they're good.
