Anticipation Day 1 for me

I made it to Worldcon (Anticipation) yesterday and had a great time. I only made it to one panel because I got too busy talking to people. I did get to a bunch of parties.

There was an amazing nouvau-Japanese dish called okonami yaki, a sort of sweet & savoury pancake. Very interesting and delicious.

I also got a chance to taste Marmite. I was very curious about this British spread. I have heard both extremes: that it is delicious and that it is one of the worst tasting foods in the world. I like it, a lot.

People hate Marmite or love it. Steve loves it, I hate it.

Both swestrup and I like it. We will be picking up a jar. The trick is to put it on the bread or cracker extremely thinly. Someone said, "...in homeopathic quantities."
