There's too much to do
Aug. 30th, 2003 05:01 pmThere are so many things I want to attend here at World Con. It all seems to involve frantic rushing from one talk to the next one. Never enough time to stop and talk very long with interesting people.
Went to one talk called, "The Nature of Sentience". Quite intersting My favourite participant on that panel is Eliezer Yudkowsky. Wow, that man is smart and he knows the most amazing stuff. I also heard him speak at a panel entitled "Death of person vs Death of Personality". This could have been very interesting, but the damned moderator wouldn't shut up and let Yudkowsky speak. Very annoying. I only stayed to the end to get a chance to speak with Mr. Yudkowsky. It was worth it.
More on panels later.
I finally caught up with my friend Liz, who lives in Toronto. We will be going to supper at the LoneStar something, probably bar and grill.
