I went to Brunswick Medical yesterday and saw a very nice doctor. He immediately said that I needed a prescription for a cane and Motrin. Well, I got the cane, but ibuprofen doesn't work on me, but ASA does, so I didn't need a script for that. I am now the proud owner of a shiny new cane. He also gave me a script for X-rays. He said that if the ankle wasn't feeling a lot better in two days, to go get the ankle x-rayed. Well, it's feeling much better. The cane certainly helps, but it still needs to be elevated a lot of the time. A friend suggested taking a potassium supplement to help prevent the leg cramps. I'm doing that and no leg or foot cramps since Saturday.
