Smoke break
Dec. 21st, 2003 06:16 pmSo, I'm running way late in the food prep for the party. But, there are snacks on the table and not all of the guests have arrived. Unfortunately, friend M can't make it. Her chemotherapy session last Thursday has left her with a sore throat, sniffles, and just plain not feeling well.
Gotta get those birds in the oven soon. Stuffing is almost ready. Another 10 minutes, once I finish my smoke break. (I'm smoking in my office with the door shut, 'cause most of the guests are non-smokers.)
