Seriously, not everybody is up at that hour and interested in posting something. Being alert enough to post something coherent reduces the number even further.
But, I have people on my friends list in other time zones. I am a member of two Danish communities. At most times, if I haven't looked at my friends page in a few hours, there will be new posts by the time I have caught up. And, after posting this entry, I looked at my friends page and found that a friend had made a post six minutes prior to mine ;)
I certainly expect the number of posts to diminish, but I can't remember the last time there has been a four hour gap in posts, with the possible exception of a four hour slot somewhere between 01h00 and 07h00.
True that. I had forgotten about the international time zone thing.
Of course I could not know about your other communities as I only see this more general area. In here, there are only the regulars who seem to post, almost all of whom seem to be local.
I guess you just noticed one of those rare lulls in the ebb and flow of online musings.
