• One phishing, purporting to be from RBC, my bank


• One email from Intuit, which was not spam


• The usual stuff for gambling, penis enlargement, loans, Viagra, and cheap drugs


• At least nine asking me to verify my new membership in something, e.g., an online forum, a game, or receive a newsletter.

Needless to say, I hadn't joined any of these. It seems to be the new form of spam. I've been getting this form of spam for the past two or three days. Thank you Gmail for catching these as spam.
