Not getting any younger

I pulled an all nighter Wednesday and I still haven't fully recovered. Even last year I could pull the occasional all nighter and recuperate quickly. I guess it isn't worth it any more. I was trying to catch up on work, but just got further behind.

This is pretty much how I feel:

Yup, that's my fourteen year female, sucha. I was feeling about as bright as she looks with her tongue hanging out. She used to pull it in when we told her it made her look stupid, but recently, she can't be bothered, so swestrup took a picture.

Sucha picked an excellent place to pose - that's great lighting! (Spike has cooperated that way a few times.)

Stupid? A cat? Perish the thought! More likely, she was expressing her general disgust with the world. Or perhaps she was tasting the air. Or, um, okay, maybe she just forgot to pull her tongue back in.

We don't tell her she is stupid, we tell her she looks stupid. That should work - she is quite vain, even for a cat.
