Income tax run
May. 4th, 2007 03:15 am2007 April 30, 20h30: I head to the car with finished tax returns and two cheques - one to each government for a biz client (self-employed returns are due June 15, but the amount owing is due April 30). Some are ready to go to the government. Four are going to clients to be signed and then delivered to the government.
20h32: The remote doesn't work, I guess it needs a new battery. I use the key to unlock the passenger side door. Uh oh. The lights don't come on. The other doors don't unlock. I put my files on the passenger seat and my purse on the floor. I unlock the driver's door and then I notice the faint glow from the dome light. I try the ignition anyway, but not the tiniest hint of a sound. Nothing, nada, zip. I phone
