Yard sale learning curve

The first day of the yard sale went better than I expected. We made about $25 so far. We didn't have a lot of people come by. I should have put the signs up earlier in the week. I didn't realize that we had as much "good" stuff to sell as it turns out we have. If I had figured that out Friday, I could have put an ad in the newspaper. I was afraid we wouldn't make the $25 that the ad costs. Oh well, I'll know a lot more the next time. This was my first yard sale.

I thought it would be a lot more boring - sitting around from 09h00 to 16h00. But, it was lovely weather and I had good company. It was quite nice sitting out in the fresh air most of the day. Many thanks to _sps_ for helping out, and of course, to swestrup too.

I'm hoping we will have more people tomorrow. They will have had an extra day to discover our signs.

Chipmunk

I think I have a gum boil. The right side of my face is all chipmunky and the gum is sore. It feels sort of like toothache, but it isn't associated with one tooth and it's not so bad that I feel like taking anything for pain.

Sort of awake

I don't want to be awake yet. I want to go back to sleep. But, Yard sale is set to start in about 40 minutes, so I have help swestrup start hauling stuff back outside and setting up. I sure hope we have more people than yesterday.
