Migraine

I guess I turn into a whiny bitch when I'm ill. I'm not even all that ill, but now I have a migraine. I get visual migraines, so I can barely see what I am typing. I can't finish reading the posts on the QuickBooks® forum. I hope I don't get a headache to go with the pretty visuals. But, I'm not holding my breath, since I already have a mild background headache from being ill.

Well, I did get the headache. I took some AC&C (aspirin with codeine for the Yanks) and that took care of it.

Visual migraines are annoying. Fortunately, the first time I had one, I had just been reading Oliver Sacks's The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, so I knew what was going on and didn't freak out. Previously I'd never heard of them. Also fortunately, they don't presage headaches for me. I do hope you avoid them as as well.

I don't always get the headaches, but I've been getting them more and more. The first time I got a headache with a migraine was five years after I started getting them. Wow, that headache was a doozy.
