Mother's Day sadness
Mother's Day has never been my favourite holiday. As a kid, it was always more of an obligation than a celebration. Now, it's a reminder of the baby I lost and the fact that I am extremely unlikely to ever become a mother. I don't notice so much, when people wish their own mothers a happy Mother's Day. But, when everyone here on LJ was wishing their friends a happy Mother's Day, it smacked me upside the head pretty hard. So, to anyone on my friends list who didn't get a "Happy Mother's Day" from me, I hope you will understand.
