continuation of One day I will be able to sync my phone, part 1

1. I phoned Sony Ericsson and spoke with a very nice customer service rep. He says that my problem with Windog not being on drive C: is a known problem and it should be fixed when they bring out the Vista compatible version of the software. He suggested, that since I have two phones, to sync them via bluetooth. 


2. It occurred to me that I have two phones at the moment, but not two batteries, so I phoned Fido. The rep there said I could probably borrow a SIM card and battery at a Fido store and do the bluetooth thing there.


3. Someone suggested uploading all the data to a free service on the internet. Uploading the data to the internet sounded like a good idea. I have no idea how many kb of data I have.


4. I checked the Fido website. It would cost me $0.05/ kb to transfer data. So if I have one meg, then it's $50.- Yikes. The pictures alone are nearly 3 meg.

I will try phoning a Fido store or two and see if they will let me do my data transfer there. If that doesn't work, it will be on to part 3
